Marley was raised in Monroe, Louisiana, where she attended Neville High School and then, Louisiana State University. Marley received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting at LSU and began her career as a CPA in the Risk & Audit function at Ernst and Young in Houston, Texas. She then worked as a Senior Accountant for a major offshore driller in the oil and gas sector. During her time there, she served as a key player in working through a series of complex accounting transactions (i.e., mergers and restructuring).
Marley enjoys being outside, cooking, practicing yoga, but most importantly spending time with her husband, Will, and 1 year old, Patrick. After living in Houston for six years, she and her family made the easy decision to move back to her husband’s hometown, Baton Rouge, to be closer to family and all of Patrick’s crazy cousins.
