Ashley joined the Abel Hall team in October of 2022. Prior to her role at Abel Hall, Ashley was a Partner with Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips, LLP, where she practiced law in a wide array of areas including trusts and estates/estate planning; taxation; successions; tax-exempt organizations; commercial transactions; and commercial litigation. In her estate planning and administration practice, Ashley assisted clients with the preparation of their personal estate planning documents, ranging from traditional wills and powers of attorney to large scale trusts and gifting plans to lessen Federal estate and gift tax exposure.

Ashley graduated summa cum laude in 2022 from the University of Alabama School of Law LL.M. program in Taxation. She graduated cum laude in 2014 from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she served as Senior Editor of the Louisiana Law Review. Ashley graduated magna cum laude in 2011 from Louisiana State University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and minored in Political Science.
Ashley was born and raised in Baton Rouge. Outside of work, Ashley loves spending time with her husband, Mitchell, and their three daughters.
